The five last grades of our school (4th-8th) had the opportunity to read the books, “Είσαι φίλη μου” (You are my friend) and “Είσαι δυνατή” (You are strong) from the book series “Έλλα και Άλλυ” and talk with their author, Mrs. Zeta Douka. Our students loved the story and the beautiful illustrations and we, their teachers, are thrilled because through these books we managed to convey to our students great messages about the value of friendship, female support and acceptance of diversity.
We would like to thank Mrs. Douka for accepting our invitation to talk (despite the fact that it was extremely late in Greece ) with our students about her beautiful books and being so kind to us.
