Dear Holy Trinity Family,
Greetings! Whether you traveled far or stayed near, I hope your Summer was enjoyable, filled with good times, and creating memories of a lifetime! I am humbled to be the new Philoptochos President and excited to lead our vibrant Chapter towards a productive and fun year ahead. Thank you to my predecessor, Agathy Gerkis for her hard work and dedication to our Philoptochos these past two years!
I am looking forward to working with our dynamic Philoptochos Board, the members of our Chapter and all of you, my fellow parishioners. We are blessed to have Father Nick and Father Demetrios, as our spiritual leaders and I thank them for their continuous support along with our Parish Council. Thank you to all our parishioners for always contributing, supporting, and participating in our various ministries and fundraisers. We count on all of you to stay a successful Philoptochos Chapter and I know this will continue moving forward.
Our Philoptochos Chapter supports many Outreach Ministries and Charitable works. This is a wonderful way to come together and join us as we continue to build on our progress to serve our community with integrity, humility, and purpose. With the variety of ministries listed below, there are opportunities for everyone, young and "more mature" to partake in making a difference in someone's life including our own. I am aware of the generosity and love that each of you have for our community and for people in need domestically and around the world. This is never taken for granted but rather praised with thankfulness. Please look at the following and consider volunteering:
The Carver Center-Once a month, volunteers assist food-insecure members of the Port Chester community by assisting them to select bags of groceries. To participate, please contact Vicki Kyriakos at vskdmd@aol.com
