Celebrating OHI Day 2023

OHI DAY CELEBRATION - FRIDAY OCTOBER 27, 2023

On October 27, 2023, our students celebrated OHI Day, a national holiday in Greece that commemorates the rejection of an ultimatum by Italian dictator Benito Mussolini on October 28, 1940.

Students recited poems, sang songs, and discussed the importance of OHI Day in Greek history. They also learned about the heroic actions of the Greek people during the Greco-Italian War and the Axis occupation of Greece.

OHI Day is a reminder of the strength and resilience of the Greek people. It is a day to celebrate our culture and heritage, and to reaffirm our commitment to democracy and freedom.

We are proud of our students for their participation in this important celebration. We hope that they will continue to learn about and celebrate Greek history and culture.
